Based on the leaked photos, the design and size of the new drone is somewhat similar to its predecessor. It also features foldable rotor arms for storage, and would seemingly fit one’s hand when fully folded. Weight-wise, it is said that the device comes in at only 249 grams.
According to WinFuture, the Mini 2 features a 12MP camera with a 1/2.3-inch sensor, f/2.8 aperture and 83-degree field of view. It is also able to record 4K videos at up to 30 frames per second, as well as capture photos in both JPG and DNG formats. The site adds that the drone uses an ISO range of up to 3200 across all usage modes.
The Mini 2 is said to be capable of travelling up to 10km and reach a maximum altitude of up to 4000 meters. WinFuture says the drone is equipped with a 2,250mAh battery which enables it to last up to 31 minutes of flight.
The site added that the DJI Mini 2 will see a global launch on 4 November 2020 and is estimated to retail at EUR499 (~RM2,420). As with other aerial drones from the company, it is expected that the new product will launch in a standard package and in a Fly More Bundle. (Source: WinFuture)
